The Miami Hype Legacy Scholarship Program was created to support athletes throughout their volleyball journey—from club participation to college success.
Through the generosity of sponsors, donors, alumni, and community partners, scholarship funding is awarded to deserving athletes who demonstrate commitment, character, leadership, and a passion for growth both on and off the court.
The program consists of two scholarship pathways designed to create opportunities at every stage of an athlete’s development.
Scholarship Opportunities
Club Season Scholarships
Designed to help athletes continue competing and developing through Miami Hype programs.
Scholarship funds may be applied toward:
Awards may be partial or full and are distributed based on available funding each season.
College Season Scholarships
Designed to celebrate Miami Hype seniors as they transition into the next chapter of their lives.
Selected graduating athletes may receive scholarship awards to assist with:
Scholarships may be distributed as annual awards or multi-year commitments, depending on available funding.
Example:
A selected athlete may receive a $4,000 scholarship distributed as $1,000 annually over four
years of college enrollment.
Application Requirements
Submit one recommendation letter from someone who can speak to your character, work ethic, leadership, or commitment.
Examples may include:
Applicants must submit their most recent academic records as part of the review process.
All applicants must submit a short essay describing their journey, goals, and how this scholarship opportunity would impact their future.
Essays should be between 500–750 words.
